ID Implants for pets

I have been reading lately that the ID implants now used to identify many pets can cause cancer. This is a complete fabrication as far as I am concerned. They are coated with FDA approved glass which is used on all kinds of implants in medical situations. We did the early testing on implants right here in Vero Beach back in the 80's and found the implants to be totally non-allergenic.

The first ones were coated with plastic which did not work as they failed in a few months from their tendency to absorb bodily fluids and rust the chip inside the implant.

On another issue this years corn crop is said to have areas where aflatoxin is a problem. We need to avoid any dog (read pet) food which contains corn. One writer says wheat may also be involved.......................
